Journey into the high-altitude sanctuary of Bale Mountains National Park, a wonderland of cloud forests, alpine meadows, and endemic wildlife. Drive from Addis Ababa to Dinsho, the park HQ. Visit the museum and take a short nature walk to spot mountain nyalas and warthogs.
Ascend to over 4,000 meters on the Sanetti Plateau. Look for the elusive Ethiopian wolf, walk among giant lobelias, and enjoy the mountain air.
Descend into the lush, moss-draped Harenna Forest. Explore waterfalls, hidden villages, and coffee farms. Overnight in a local eco-lodge.
Drive back to the capital with stops at scenic viewpoints and traditional villages along the way.
