Depart from Addis Ababa early morning. Drive through the Great Rift Valley and enjoy scenic countryside views en route to Goba. Overnight in a local lodge or hotel near the park entrance.
Begin your journey into the park. Drive to Sanetti Plateau (above 4,000m) for a chance to spot the rare Ethiopian wolf. Enjoy panoramic views and highland flora. Continue on foot or vehicle to nearby scenic areas. Overnight camping in the park.
After breakfast, begin a moderate trek through the high-altitude landscapes of Bale. Hike across moorlands dotted with giant lobelias to reach Wasama Valley, a stunning spot rich with wildlife and sweeping views. Continue toward Tulu Dimtu, the second-highest mountain in Ethiopia. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views across the Bale highlands. Picnic lunch on the trail, then return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.
Descend into the lush Harenna Forest, home to black-maned lions, colobus monkeys, and rich birdlife. Explore the jungle trails and waterfalls. Learn about traditional forest use from local communities. Return to camp/lodge for dinner.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before driving back to Addis Ababa with scenic stops along the way. End of tour.
